Cosmetic Surgery by the Numbers

The Cosmetic Surgery National Data Bank published surgical statistics in 2016 and many of the numbers are quite interesting. The most common surgical procedure done this past year was liposuction followed by breast augmentation, tummy tuck, eyelid surgery, and breast lift. At a twenty year comparison, liposuction increased from 176,863 patients in that year to over 400,000 this past year, while breast augmentation increased from 101,176 patients to over 300,000 patients.

I think you will find all members of The Plastic Surgery Group, due to their extensive training in anatomy of the face and body are uniquely qualified to perform both surgical and non-invasive procedures. All members of The Plastic Surgery Group are certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery is responsible for accumulating the data through the Cosmetic Surgery National Data Bank and we thank them for that service.
