Injectables

KYBELLA®

KYBELLA® is the first and only FDA- approved injectable treatment to assist in the appearance of fat below the chin, otherwise known as a “double chin.” KYBELLA® works by destroying the fat cells in the submental chin area, and once those cells are destroyed they cannot return.  The active ingredient  is composed of a naturally occurring substance already in our bodies called, deoxycholic acid.

If you are bothered by submental fullness, this could be the right treatment for you.

Most patients will experience visible results in 2 to 4 treatment sessions. KYBELLA®  will be injected into the fat under your chin using multiple injections. Up to 6 treatment sessions may be administered spaced no less than one month apart.

BOTOX® Cosmetic

BOTOX® Cosmetic or botulinum toxin is a non-surgical injection to temporarily reduce the appearance of wrinkles and lines in and around the frown lines, forehead, eyes, facial creases and bands in the neck. Some studies have shown BOTOX® Cosmetic to be an effective option to relieve migraine headache pain, reduce sweating and relieve muscle spasms in the neck and eyes.

Dysport®

Dysport® is a prescription injection for temporary improvement in the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows. The results last between 3 to 4 months.

Restylane®, Perlane®

Restylane® and Perlane® are Hylaronic Acid based injectables used to restore volume and correct facial wrinkles. Your physician will choose the appropriate filler based on the location and severity of the lines and folds to be treated. These fillers last between six months to one year.

Belotero®

Belotero® is a hylaronic dermal filler that has a soft cohesive gel consistency. This provides the physician flexibility to treat fine lines and nasolabial folds. The effects of Belotero® last six months or more.

Juvederm®/Juvederm Ultra Plus®

As we age our skin reduces production of a naturally hydrating component called hyaluronic acid. Juvederm® is an FDA approved smooth-consistency HA (hyaluronic acid) gel that replaces lost HA to produce volume and help correct and smooth out facial lines and wrinkles. Juvederm® injectable gel can last up to one year with only one treatment.

Radiesse®

Radiesse® wrinkle filler restores fullness to smooth signs of aging. It not only instantly restores facial volume, it keeps working with your body to stimulate your own natural collagen for long lasting results.

Bellafill®

Do you suffer from acne scarring? If so, Bellafill may help your scarring. Bellafill is injected into the scar causing the scar to lift to meet the surrounding skin. Thus giving the appearance of smoother skin. Over the course of time, see continued improvement in scar appearance. This happens through your body’s collagen production and with the help of the PMMA microspheres found in Bellafill.

Voluma

Juvederms Voluma XC is the first FDA approved filler to be used in the cheek area. If you have lost volume in your cheeks and would like to gain your youthful appearance back, then Voluma may be right for you. Voluma can help restore a youthful profile for up to 2 years, with a natural-looking result.

Juvederm Volbella XC

The newest addition to the Juvederm family  for 2016 and FDA approved is  Juvederm Volbella XC.    It is meant to be used in the lips and in perioral lines to increase lip fullness and soften the appearance of lines around the mouth.  Juvederm Volbella XC is formulated with Vycross technology.  This technology “blends different molecular weights of hyaluronic acid which contributes to the gel’s duration.” The Vycross technology was first debuted in 2013 by Allergan and has become the leading technology for facial fillers. In clinical studies, at the 90 day mark over 80% of people injected reported greater fullness in their lips and over 96% reported overall satisfaction.

The Procedure:
Soft tissue fillers are injected into the skin. The results are immediate; however, they are temporary.
